Legal Sea Foods - Boston

Excellent Seafood. It was kind of difficult to find this location, it is inside the Copley's mall, inside the same building as the Marriot Hotel. My son took me here and he loved it to, mind you, he doesn't like Seafood, he was only eating it because his Doctor asked him too, and he loved the food and the vegetables here. The waitress was super nice in customer service, she was very helpful in explaining the dishes and anything we needed, she came to the table a few times to check that we were okay and didn't need anything else. Boston is known for the best fresh Seafood and the best Lobsters and this place is, it delivers just that, excellent fresh Seafood.

I remember going to this restaurant years ago and getting the sense of a real good seafood place. I have to say that the experience this time was more of a commercial chain. Food was good, but not extraordinary. Service was ok, servers seem in a hurry all the time. So, I would say an ok place to go to, but having so many other choices in the area, I would consider going somewhere else.

The Lobster Roll was phenomenal but the fries that day were so-so and there was no dressing on the coleslaw (it was literally just shredded cabbage). I loved the Shrimp Gispatcho which were great with the warm rolls. I like Legal Seafood and will be back.

Clam chowder best I've had hands down! The rest of the food was just okay.. not bad, but not amazing... I had the fried platter or something like that...
