Despite mixed reviews, many patrons will miss the exceptional mezze plates and unique flavors that made dining there a truly unforgettable experience. While some felt the service was lacking and the closing was poorly handled, others appreciated the wonderful food and atmosphere the restaurant provided over the years. With the restaurant now closed, diners can only hope that future establishments will offer the same level of quality and charm that Lala Rokh once did. Best wishes to the Bina family as they embark on new endeavors.
A one-of-a-kind restaurant in Beacon Hill. It's such a shame that it has closed... it will be sorely missed.
Unfortunately, La La La La Rokh will be closing on August 11, 2018 after 24-plus years. We will miss you!
We enjoyed eating in Lala Rokh over the years, but unfortunately because they are closed, the service was a little haphazard of this nite. Your signature drink, Lalatini is very missing. Most foods on their menu have not disappointed and we can only hope that everything that moves in the next will be just as wonderful for the neighborhood.
Sadly, after nearly 25 years in operation, Lala Rokh has closed down. We had the pleasure of dining there earlier this week and it was truly unforgettable. Regular patrons of Lala Rokh are familiar with the amazing flavors that explode in your mouth - it's a truly wonderful experience. Best wishes to the Bina family as they move on to new endeavors!
Very disappointing. I had been to Lala Rokh many times in the past, but not for some time. First, we were placed in essentially a basement room. Second, the table next to us was extraordinarily noisy. Third, one of the hostesses was rude to one of our party. Fourth, the main courses were good, maybe very good, but not exceptional. By contrast, the mezze plates were exceptional. If there is a next time, I'd order all mezze plates.
