La Summa
Description
**Dining Experience in the North End: A Mixed Bag**
Nestled in the heart of the North End, this charming, family-run Italian restaurant offers authentic cuisine that has delighted many patrons. Diners rave about the delicious dishes, such as the house special featuring veal and memorable pasta. However, the experience can be marred by disruptive live entertainment and slow service. While some customers appreciate the cozy atmosphere and attentive staff, others express frustration over awkward interactions and mishaps, like broken glass from hot water. Overall, this venue's stellar food quality shines through, making it a tempting choice, albeit with some caveats for an ideal dining experience.

The frutti di mare was pretty good, if a bit on the salty side (I chose scampi broth instead of marinara, that might’ve had something to do with it). The chicken Parm was also quite good. Our favorites, though, were definitely the ravioli marinara(stuffed with traditional ricotta) and the tiramisu. The latter also looked very beautiful.

A small family run Italian restaurant In North End. We ordered House Special and Vegetarian penne with olive oil n garlic with veggies. We had a wonderful experience, small place and bit crowded, try to get the reservation. Most of the restaurants needreservations. All the staffs were very friendly. Overall experience was really good????????????????
Did not have reservations but was able to sit outside. Hostess was great, super friendly. Waitress tried. She brought out glasses for water and proceeded to put ice water in them but they were very hot 2 of them cracked and 1 exploded soaking mywife's leg and shoes. Luckily son did not get any glass on him. For the food it was good. I felt it was pricey but not out ofline with others. The food tasted grest.
