Went looking for an alternative to Dunkin at my work and found it! The owner is so sweet and personal. It takes longer to refine the delicious sandwiches with love and care, so if you have to run, I guess run on Dunkin, but think Kneeland Cafe if you want to be treated like a person! Good food but only eat here if you have time and patience. I think there's only one young girl in the store all day. This makes waiting long, ive twice ordered and every time I wait in an empty shop to pick up my food. Last time I waited about fifteen minutes until she finally came out of the back room. At least leave a phone number or something? My break is always wasted because she's never in the store when I come... View all feedback.
This might be one of the better places in Chinatown to get subs and hot plates. Really good!

Great value. Very fresh food, and many healthy options. One of the few places I've craved during the COVID lockdown. Kneeland Cafe is back, and is as great as ever.
I 've frequented this place many times because the food and drinks here are about 4 stars. The prices are reasonable, so it has good value; but when the young man behind the counter (who sounds like the owner) starts yapping away with another customer about how he doesn 't understand why people still go to Chinese restaurants , that does it for me. I don 't need to bring my business to a place like this, there are literally dozens of other options within walking distance.
