What User doesn't like about Kenmore Management Inc:
we stopped after a sox game in cornwalls. the place was obviously busy. but I feel that this place is busy most of the time. Why? Because it's good. it is a well oiled machine operated by the same people who opened it 40 years ago. If you do something so long, you'll be pretty good at it. the food was good, the service was good, the prices reasonable, and the mood was friendly. What can they ask for more? next time i... The pretzel bites are absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is casual and enjoyable. The Moscow mules are the best I've ever tasted and they are served in authentic copper mugs. We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we came back for a second visit.
I recently dined at Cornwalls in Kenmore Square for my first sit-down meal in Massachusetts post-COVID and I was thoroughly impressed. It was the ideal spot to enjoy a drink and a meal before heading to the Red Sox game, with great outdoor seating, excellent service, reasonable prices, and delicious food. I started with some fiddleheads and a fantastic IPA, served by a waitress who expertly topped off my beer with foam. It's rare to find such attention to detail these days, but it truly enhanced the experience. The service was so smooth that I decided to opt for the grilled Reuben instead of the typical ballpark fare at Fenway. At just $11.95, it was a steal – the corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing on rye bread were top-notch. Even my friend, who had never tried a Reuben before (he lived under a rock), thought it was delicious. The dish came with hot steak fries and a dill pickle, making it a simple but perfect meal. Our server was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was welcoming, the beer selection was on point, and the food surpassed my expectations. Thank you, Cornwalls, for a wonderful dining experience!
We initially stopped by for a drink, but the great atmosphere convinced us to stay for dinner. The service was top-notch and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a lovely evening!
Our journey of walking around the area after a winning Red Sox game (yea we ended up at Cornwall's. We were greeted with a warm welcoming at the door by a couple. The owners? The place was very lively and loud. It was a mixture of college folks and families. We were able to find a nice corner booth immediately. We were lucky to find it as I think it was the only one available. As I couldn't find any soup on the menu I ordered the Shepard's Pie. It was disappointing. It was a large bowl of ground beef with masked potatoes on top with gravy. But, not like the same flavors that would one would make at home. My husband ordered a hamburger and cleaned his plate. Out lovely server, Jessica, did come by and check with us several times asking if all was OK. I always said fine. My mistake. She graciously later removed my bowl and replaced it with the onion soup that I chose. I appreciated her accommodation. Everyone else looked to be having a wonderful experience and enjoying their meals.
Good eating, decent prices and friendly staff. would recommend at the playag, as it is not too busy and they get a place.
