Real authentic dim sum. My brother-in-law who has lived in China said it was his favorite dim sum spare ribs he’s ever had in his life. Not sure why the ratings aren’t higher! View all feedback.
What Brenna Mills doesn't like about Hei La Moon Restaurant:
here with friends, new location, Saturday 4:30 o'clock. taro was disgusting. it must have been there for ever. the edges were hard. also swollen aubergines looked terrible. table next to us got perfect taro and perfect aubergine. they must not like our table was 5 non-Aser. Asian table of 2 had fresh food. go to quincy. do not recommend View all feedback.
The food was good, but the delivery over grubhub was terrible. the supplier lost the delivery and went mia. the second time was eating.
We were surprised how much we enjoyed our dim dinner. we have great sums in the cities where we grew up. it is difficult not to compare the dimming sum.
So amazing Chinese soul eating in the heart of Chinatown! immediately after the landing in boston for a weekend trip my friends and I knew we wanted some.
Dimsum here is pretty, both har gow and siew mai tasted very good. we also ordered char siew bao and garnelen stick noodles and they were good. her bark meat reis noodles was very generous, but tasted very blanching and was not pan-fried right. I also asked her to add chili, but there was nothing, tasteless.
Once famous for one of the only Dim-Summe-style food card restaurants in boston, hei la moon seems to be on the hill. because of the covid, food carts were taken away, and the feeling of excitement and joy for caring together with. also food carts helped to make decisions easy as they have hundreds of different menus available, but these drinks were no longer available. during one of my recent visits to my friends I was disappointed by some of their offers. they still have fantastic dimming cums and dumplings, but the hawn and other main dishes, including the seafood lo my were not remarkable. if they are looking to get some good dim cums in a large group, this could be a good option, but otherwise I would recommend to other places in chinatown with better food quality.
