Super upbeat wine bar concept with a tiny kitchen and a bunch of excellent staff.Sat at the bar which is also the kitchen. Bartender was awesome. She recommended wines to pair and honestly made the whole experience really enjoyable. We had charcuterie and pan con tomate to start, paired with white wines. Both dishes were very good. What User doesn't like about Haley.henry Wine:
Shocking. Not only the food, but also the service and the atmosphere. Pumpkin risotto was so upset, everything I could taste was lemon juice. Tin Can Makrel plate was decent, but 1 can be for $20?? It came with 4 pieces burned hamburgers and some butter. The service was very unfriendly. Lady was miserable, no greeting, no smile, nothing. What a fantastic wine café! It's a hidden gem, and that's one of the reasons it's so special. The wine selection is outstanding. I can't wait to go back!
What a fantastic gem hidden away on Province Street in Boston! Throughout the evening, we remarked several times that it felt like a more upscale version of "Cheers." This charming local wine bar had a friendly atmosphere where everyone seemed to know each other, creating a warm and intimate environment for a fun night out. Haley Fortier, the owner of Haley.Henry, has done an excellent job curating a selection of lovely boutique natural organic wines from around the globe and pairing them with delightful dishes. Many items on the menu are tapas-style, allowing you to sample and pair different flavors. Although I'm typically a fan of California Cabernet, we had a wonderful and educational experience discovering wines I had never encountered before, along with insights into their production processes. A big thumbs up, and we will definitely be returning!
This is an excellent spot for a date or a brief stop while exploring the Freedom Trail. I visited with my partner and friends, and we enjoyed sharing a couple of half bottles of wine. We tried two different orange wines, both of which were fantastic. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through the wine selections and the current specials. I would definitely return if I’m in the Boston area again.
This restaurant is an excellent spot for a date or a quick stopover while exploring the Freedom Trail. I visited with my partner and friends, and we shared a couple of half bottles of wine. We tried two different types of 'orange' wines that were absolutely delightful. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through the wine selections and the current specials. I would definitely return in a heartbeat if I'm ever in the Boston area again.
