I should have known better than bringing my Italian friends to an Italian restaurant in little italy. they are all excellent cooks and I can tell them that is not an Italian restaurant. we have weeded and we have asked the waitress to a glass of dry chardonnay that she has told us that she does not drink wine and she does not really know which other wee are dry. the calamari was dry and pfeffer in it. a friend ordered ziti and meatballs marinara meatballs were hard the ziti was not ziti it is mostaccioli when they were the waitress that she said it wasn't the mostacholi she said, oh good I am Italian, but I didn't know the difference. the olive oil is contaminated, as you said, they had left only a little Parmesan cheese in the restaurant. No one was that table. another friend had ziti with garnelen scallops broccoli in a scampi style very bland served again with mostaccioli not ziti auberginen parmesan was good not amazing. when we arrived, they asked a few to pull out a table of four while they were eating because we could sit down. cheat for both of us.
Came here for a birthday dinner and I loved the mood, atmosphere felt quite authentic. I loved the lobster pasta with laughs I ordered, but some of my friends dishes were not as good as mine.
Food is always amazing. Had dessert for the first time and it was soooo good.
This restaurant was recommended by a parking attendant at our hotel and we are so glad that we tried it. Excellent food and fast service for such a busy place. We did wait outside for a bit but we were early for our reservation and felt we waited for a reasonable time. When seated, you may be practically sharing a table with other guests but everyone we encountered was friendly and even giving advice on what to order. Being a Mainer, I tried the lobster ravioli and (very unlike my usual meal) ate the entire plate in one sitting. I just couldn’t stop! My boyfriend tried the chicken and broccoli in garlic cream sauce and it was delicious too. Very enjoyable! And very reasonably priced too!
Mamma mia. Very good food and ambience. The service was very professional, helped us carefully from the beginning and provide good suggestions.First we were offered good bread and decent olive oil. Then we got fried calamari as appetizer which was good but there were better ones in Rhode Island. The home mode fussili pastas with aubergine as veggie option and with lobster shrimp is delicious. The portion size is quite huge. And the tiramisu, one of the best in Boston. Words cannot define that.
