Patrons have reported issues with order accuracy, long waits for takeout, and a lack of communication from staff. Many have expressed disappointment over missing accompaniments and cold food, while some have even raised concerns about dietary missteps, particularly regarding vegan options. While the menu offers a variety of choices, including a dedicated vegan section, staff knowledge appears lacking. On the positive side, the restaurant maintains an elegant atmosphere and is praised for generous portions. However, caution is advised for potential diners.
This place is usually great but this order just wasn't this time around.
We've had this same order in the past and really enjoyed it. The order was missing rice, the mango ice cream, one of the teas and other items in the appetizers. The Saag Panner was very, very salty. It was a huge disappointment.
The restaurant is amazing the only thing would change is adding labels on the dishes
I have had the lassi here so many times, but this time it was different. It tasted like the yogurt used had gone bad or something. They are better than this
Sadly, this was such a poor dining experience. Granted, it's hard to find amazing Indian food in Boston, but this was really bad. We ordered the vegetarian thali for 2, and they forgot to include the naan and the samosas, and instead of ginger ice cream they included a strange artificial-tasting ice cream. The mango lassi was so sweet I honestly could not drink it. For $45+, the meal was terrible. I hate leaving bad reviews, since I want to support local businesses, but we honestly felt so shocked by this experience and want no one else to waste their money and be as disappointed as we were.
