The truffle fries and wings are highlights, but other dishes receive mixed reviews for taste and presentation. Service quality varies, with reports of slow service and inconsistencies in drink preparation. While some dishes like the fried chicken receive high praise, others like the hamburger and stir-fried rice cake fall short in flavor and execution. The restaurant's atmosphere is described as more of a bar setting, leading to a hit or miss dining experience. Overall, Crave offers a range of dishes that may satisfy different tastes, but consistency and service quality remain concerns.
The food here is good. I enjoy it. I feel like this place is more of a bar than a restaurant, especially in the evening. It's nice to have a few drinks with a lighter meal.
We went there today with my family. This is the third time we ate here and we ordered two appetizers and three main foods for my parent and for me and my fiancé. But one appetizer came out and then a main entree food came out. Then another appetizer came out. Me and my fiancé had almost finished our food but our parent's food hasn't even come out yet. We shared some soy garlic flavored Chicken wings, but they were too salty and felt very oily. Our Stir fried rice cake was salty as well and taste kinda weird and stale. Only the seafood soup my parents got was good. We had asked for less spicy and the guy told us usually it is not spicy at all. But it was too spicy when we tried it, so my mom could not eat it. My dad felt the same way,and he usually can tolerate spicy food. The service is always bad every time we go there. None of the servers were friendly. The environment felt inappropriate for a family meal because the girl working there wore such a short pant and short t-shirt like she was wearing a bikini to work at the restaurant.
I don't know if the changed chef but it does not taste the same. This restaurant use to be good. Maybe the pandemic mess things up for them.
I ended up here on accident during a trip to Boston. I ordered a few things from around the menu and while everything was really good, the fried chicken (I got mine Spicy) was absolutely amazing! Seriously some of the best chicken I’ve ever had.
The boneless wings were disappointing as they tasted more like chicken tenders. The fried rice was underwhelming as well.
