Love the vegan options here and my Omni husband absolutely loves their (vegetarian) ‘meatball’ sub! It’s definitely an excellent place to show non vegans/ veggies what plant-based food can be! View all feedback.
What Michale Bergnaum doesn't like about Clover Food Lab Downtown:
The sandwiches and falafel were all delicious, and they offer fantastic vegan healthy choices. The BBQ sandwich was particularly tasty and the sauce was excellent. The BLT made with tempeh was satisfying yet light. The interior was a bit chaotic with loud music playing. View all feedback.
Seasonal menu, their roasted vegetables are really amazing and seasoned incredibly good. falafel is also great and they give good portions. docked a few stars just due to the lack of vegan escape and price, but overall a solid choice
Everything we had was super delicious. there was a tonne variety and possibly too many possibilities to choose from!
Had hummus and chips on glue and it was soou yummy! super tasteful turbulent hummus
I like clover. they were one of my favorite pieces when I was vegetarian. it is not always super easy to make the dinge here vegan. the BBQ sandwich is delicious vegan, but if you are looking forward to the impossible meat balls. well, think again. they have been mixed directly into the meatballs. that was quite disappointing. it seems there are many missed vegan options here. that means what they offer is pretty good. in this last autumn (2019) they had a sweet potato sandwich that would have been vegan if they simply had not included honey. so close and so far. it makes me feel that they just don't really think about vegan when they develop their recipes. updated by previous review on 2019-09-03
Had the chickpea fritter sandwich and rosemary fries. The food was delicious as usual. Clover is always consistent and the veggies are fresh.
