Convenient breakfast and lunch spot right on Newbury in Boston. Didn’t need a reservation. Fries were crispy and cooked to perfection. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Only downside was that service was a little bit slow. View all feedback.
What Susan doesn't like about Cafeteria Boston:
one of meals came ~10 minutes after 3 others (egg! . One of dishes was not prepared as requested. Asked for more coffee; was told that they were brewing a new pot and it would be ready in 5 minutes. Waited another 20 minutes without coffee and left. Would not return View all feedback.
The restaurant was closed when I went for my reservation!
So I booked online and got a confirmation before heading to the restaurant. When we get there it was CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS! Thanks for leaving us craving the menu!
When we appeared on the restaurant, the restaurant was closed. No one has told us that the restaurant was closed. why should open table customers make a reservation for a closed restaurant? so disappointed. not easy to make alternative plans for a party of six on a Saturday night.
Music was fun, the food and drinks were good, service was ok.
Host was very friendly, put us on the wait list and called us as we walked around the area. Waiter was friendly and had good suggestions for local beer. Food came out quickly and was very good. Had plenty of outdoor seating.
