In almost ten years of living in Boston, the only place I will go back for their shawarma (beef and lamb is my go to so far). There was one in Central Square that was good too but haven't been there in years. I need a lesson on my middle eastern food and all the different takes on shawarma but I grew up with Syrian shawarma in Houston as my favorite. Cafe Beirut I believe its Turkish. And with their pita, braised pork and lamb, spice level and ratio of vegetables, I love this place in JP!
Their food is exquisite! I love their tabulah so much! The finger baklava was super yummy as well. The coffee was good. I will be coming back for sure!
I like their rolls, especially garden halloumi roll and falafel roll. They are the only ones I know who sell moxy colddrink which I couldn't find anywhere else.
Good tasting food, adequate portions and good service. The ambience is good too. We did not have to wait long. I do with the tabouli did not have pickles/vinegar in it. Will be coming back for more.
