What Linda Michelsen doesn't like about Banh Mi Huong Que:
I saw the reviews so made a visit because I love banh mi. These were very underwhelming because I expected way more. Sandwich was way more bread than I expected and the meat was oily. I ordered their mainstays like the banh mi heo and the banh mi teriyaki tofu. The banh mi heo was way too oily/greasy and the person almost forgot my second sandwich. And the veggies didn’t taste fresh and they could have added more. Th... View all feedback.
We had Banh Mi from here. The quality was decent and the ordering experience was good. The wait was not long. Not our favourite but it was still ok.
Small hole in the wall. Crispy and delicious fried crispy rolls. Excellent fresh banh mi. Spring rolls are fresh. Venue is insanely dirty, which makes this place the real deal. Hidden gem in Chinatown you don’t want to miss. No seating so take it and go. It gets busy.
Omg if I could live here I would! The bahn mi’s are SOOOOO GOOD!!!
I got a Lemon Grass Pork Bánh Mì Heo #6 that was really tasty, with very fresh French bread (just the right amount of crunch versus soft). The pork was delicious but slightly dry but offset nicely by the pickled carrots and daikon and the pate and dab of mayo. A nice layering of flavors and textures. One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in ages and I’m still thinking about it the next day and wanting another. A big sandwich and a good value at $7.50. I will be back. Shop was accessible for a rollator walker.
Their bahn mi sandwiches are amazing and highly recommended...! Re spring roll order it came with x3 spring rolls as opposed to only 2.. and their iced coffees were also tasty!
