Great Italian Italian. Roll was cut fresh and steaming, beautiful slices, lettuce and tomato, cherry pepper spread, laid on deliciousness! Got the full size and get to push some to later to eat watching playoffs!!! View all feedback.
What Brian S doesn't like about Al's South Street Cafe:
Overall I loved their salads with additional chicken, very much worth the price. However, they mixed up my order (the paper bag said teriyaki but I wasn't given teriyaki chicken) and only provided one set of utensils for two people. View all feedback.
My favorite part was the bread—oh my goodness! It was so delicious that I emailed the staff after the event to ask about it. I discovered they bake it fresh in-house, and you can really taste the difference. Everything was fantastic, and the fresh, generously-sized ingredients made for a perfect lunch. If I lived in Boston, I would definitely be there every week! This place is an absolute must-try!
The pesto chicken kebab was delicious and came in a generous portion as well.
Excellent Italian food! The roll was freshly cut and served hot, with beautiful slices of lettuce and tomato. The cherry pepper spread added a delightful kick, making it truly delicious! I ordered the full-sized sandwich and can save some for later to enjoy while watching the playoffs!
Al?s South Street Is Thee Best Sub Shop In Boston Bar None. Their Chicken Pesto Sub Is Fit For A King. Their Grilled Chicken Is Cooked As If It Is Baked In A Pyrex Dish Like I Cook My Chicken At Home. So Juicy And Tender. The Locomotive Runs On Diesel, TheEngineer Runs On Al?s!
Their bread is phenomenal. My husband was so happy with his sandwich. We planned a trip from NY around visiting Als!
