A short stroll across the busy road and the river rushes by beneath the mountains. Bossost is overlooked from the Col de Portillon where cyclists and motor bike groups as well as me, gathered to take a moment to look down into the valley before arriving there. Bossost is not only pretty it has an interesting civil war history and a memory legacy in panels erected near the bridge and the restaurant
