So this place started out as a bakery and now is a restaurant. I took this picture before they repainted it. On a weekend, I checked them out. Nice friendly people, good tasty food. Clean place, plenty of seats to try some Mexican food, that you may not think you would get down in the south of Albuquerque. While your in the area, after your belly is full, go check out the flea market down the street, and walk off you... View all feedback.
What Jason Gonzales doesn't like about El Dorado:
I ordered a red chili meat Gordita and was given a green chili with meat and potatoes. It was very good regardless. Staff was attentive and friendly. They need an air conditioner it's muy caliente in there. Music is loud but it was good songs playing. --- **Takeout Meal Type:** Brunch **Price per Person:** $1–10 **Food Rating:** 4/5 **Service Rating:** 3/5 **Atmosphere Rating:** 3/5 I recently ordered brunch for takeout and had a pretty decent experience. The food was excellent, earning a solid 4 out of 5. Everything was flavorful and satisfying, making it a great value for the price range of $1 to $10 per person. However, the service fell short, receiving a rating of 3. While it wasn't bad, it could have been more attentive and efficient. Finally, the atmosphere also rated a 3; it wasn't particularly remarkable, but it wasn't unpleasant either. Overall, I would recommend this place for a tasty and affordable brunch option, especially if you’re looking for takeout.
This restaurant started out as a bakery and has since evolved into a dining spot. I took this photo before they repainted the venue. I visited on a weekend and was very impressed by the friendly staff and the delicious food. The establishment is clean and has plenty of seating, perfect for enjoying some delightful Mexican cuisine that you might not typically find in southern Albuquerque. After your meal, don’t forget to explore the nearby flea market to stroll off those calories.
I found hair in my food and we never received our tortillas. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20.
The food lacks seasoning these days. I ordered two corn gorditas, and they appeared quite small and bland. as for the service, it was for takeout. I spent between $1 and $10 per person.
