I went to this restaurant with my friends for Sunday lunch. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but positive. The beginning didn't go well: we had booked for seven people, they gave us a small round table for 4-5 people where we were very cramped and uncomfortable. At our request they gave us another table and moved us to another room. The structure is quite classic, pleasant, completely ruined by the absolutely out of place techno-disco background music, so loud that at the table we had to shout to hear each other. We had to ask to lower it 4 times with no result until almost at the end of lunch. But let's get to the food: they offer a fixed menu for 25 euros. Mixed platter-like appetizer with good cured meats, indecent mozzarella (old and without flavour), zeppoline and passable meatball sandwich. The real tragedy was on the first courses: Genoese without flavour, dish with mini portion, overcooked pasta; shrimp and courgette fusilli left completely on the plate because the shrimp smelled and were inedible; passable gnocchi with sauce. Seconds without infamy and without praise. The icing on the cake was that at the checkout we realized that the wine on the bill cost 32 euros instead of 22 (the price we had been told at the table) due to an admitted error by the manager who had offered it to us but who at the checkout still kept us waiting. get paid the price he said. All in all a terrible experience.
Here we are not just talking about typical Neapolitan cuisine, in this estate everything is typically Neapolitan, from the welcome to the service. Yesterday we spent a typical Sunday like we spent with our grandparents as children, those endless lunches, delicious food, chatting and laughter. The pasta and potatoes are pure poetry, the craft beer is a gem. A place suitable for everyone, especially families, here children are looked after by entertainers in a safe and danger-free place. I will definitely go back.
Food was not bad, mine was very good. But my friends got something different, than ordered, technically it was an upgrade, but still the waiter could discuss it in advance. prizes were not great, maybe a little overpriced. The weirdest thing was that the whole restaurant was empty, except us. Empty on friday evening... Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Tourist trap We got this restaurant recommended and decided to try it. It was a Sunday and the waitress said we could only have the fixed menu and the only choice we had was meat or fish for main course. We agreed but we saw that other tables (with the locals) had other dishes than we so the fixed menu was not true. We had to pay extra for the fish making the menu 35 euros per person which is a lot for such place. We had only 1 glass for the water so we asked 1 more glass which we never got so we drank from 1 glass, that is not a problem but it speaks for the service. The starter was mixed and the pieces that should have been warm were not warm at all. The main dish was fried shrimps and squid and it was too greasy. I can not recommend this restaurant to anybody except perhaps the locals as they are treated differently.
