Boscobel And Central House

It was a Tuesday and it was crammed, we like it better when it's more prohibition bar. ;

What a beautiful historic building! The atmosphere was lively and perfect for a Friday night out in Boscobel, Wisconsin. The locals were friendly, and the bartender was fantastic! The potato pancakes and spring green salad were absolutely delicious. The fish was decent, but the service was outstanding. I will definitely be returning!

I've always enjoyed the cocktails at Central House; the food is great as well. The bartender is excellent and has been there for a long time, so he knows everyone.

I'm curious about what has happened to this establishment. We entered through an open door and found ourselves navigating through an exercise mat and various other items—it was quite a chaotic scene. When I opened the door marked "Saloon," I encountered a couple of young men who were amidst the disarray. They were polite and informed us that the place was closed, but they do have plans to reopen. I wish them the best! Hopefully, this historic building can be restored.

I went out with my daughter and her friends, and we had a wonderful time!
