I stopped by about a month ago and their... read more A shame this place closed down after so many years as Fennimore doesn't have a ton of fast food choices to begin with. I stopped by about a month ago and their food and service was solid. Great chicken tenders. Two weeks later I stopped at the Hardee's in Prairie Du Chien and had undercooked chewy tenders so on the way back out of town (we live in Milwaukee) when we got to Fennimore it was notable to us that all of a sudden their sign was gone and a note was on the door thanking patrons for years of patronage. Thanks for the good food, Fennimore Hardee's.

Unfortunately, when I received my fries, they looked like they had taken from the bottom of the bag—most were crushed and broken into small pieces. They did taste fresh, but I was still disappointed by their appearance. Overall, the location was nice. I didn’t go inside, but the drive-thru was quick and easy, and the staff seemed friendly. The only thing preventing a five-star review was the state of the curly fries.

I'm really happy we finally chose to give this place a try.

So I was traveling through town on my daily drive and I found myself getting hungry. So I decided to go through the drive thru of Hardee's. I ordered my usual d... read more So I was traveling through town on my daily drive and I found myself getting hungry. So I decided to go through the drive thru of Hardee's. I ordered my usual double monster thick burger combo with Dr. Pepper no ice and curly fries. The burger was amazing like always. The meat was juicy, it was stacked with bacon, and the melted cheese and sauce was too die for! The drink was just as tp be expected, a regulr Dr. Pepper fountain drink. I had to wait a few minutes for the curly fries. This was ok though, as I knew i was going to be getting fresh made curly fries. Which are my favorite! However when I got my fries, it looked like they had uses some fries from the very bottom of the bag. The fries were all crushed and broken into mostly small pieces. They taste fresh though, but i was still disappointed that they were in pieces. Overall a nice location. I did not go inside but the drive thru was quick, easy, and the staff seemed friendly. Only thing preventing a 5 star review would be the smashed curly fries.
