What Han S likes about Purple Sands:
Decor fairly dated reminisce of classic 80’s Chinese restaurant but don’t let that fool you. The food is good. Pay particular attention to the lamb ribs and items on the Chinese menu. Better value as a takeaway rather than dine in. Crispy chicken was a tad dry. Hot pot dishes were done well. Service was excellent. View all feedback.

read morePurple Sands offers a nostalgic dining experience with its classic 80's Chinese restaurant decor. Despite the outdated ambiance, the food is excellent, especially the lamb ribs and Chinese menu items. Takeaways are recommended for better value. The crispy chicken was a bit dry, but the hot pot dishes were well executed. Service is consistently excellent. Guests have raved about the delicious dim sum, friendly staff, and great deals on weekend family meals. Dishes such as prawn with vegetables and combination noodles have been praised for their taste and generous portions. The restaurant also offers delectable options like special tofu, free range steamed chicken, wasabi mayo prawns, and pork neck with Chinese broccoli. Regular patrons enjoy the fried rice, shumai, and chili beef, as well as the great duck varieties. Despite some mixed reviews, recommendations from friends and staff can guide your meal choices. Standout dishes include crispy chicken, duck with taro, and prawn and ginger dumplings. The homemade tofu, special pork ribs, and smashed ginger free range chicken are also highly recommended. Although service can be a bit slow due to the high demand, Purple Sands remains a popular Chinese takeaway spot for many. The restaurant prides itself on using non-frozen prawns and consistently providing tasty and reliable dishes. The new addition of chicken with fried breadcrumbs received positive reviews, although some guests noted that the dish could be a bit less salty. Overall, Purple Sands offers quality food that receives high praise from guests, including younger diners who consider it one of the best dining experiences they've had.

Let's start with "WOW!" How little businesses can run with the worst customer service I've ever received, without getting a chance to become a customer.
I am so torn about this place to the point where since I started my meal at this restaurant to this very second I am having a raging internal debate as to
