Mish Mash Design & Cafe - Boronia

Tried lunch there for the firs time and chose the zucchini slice. Was tasty though it did not come with any accompanying salad. Had to wait at least 15 minutes since ordering to get the food despite the whole place was actually less than half full and all it needed was to heat the food up to be served. Apart from the slow service, would recommend if you are looking for something other than the average fare.

Mish Mash is great for some really great quality healthy lunch options, definitely something needed in this area.

Friend told me they have the best coffee in Boronia. That was an understatement, it’s the best in the surrounding area. Full range of milks, soy, almond etc. Freshly cooked homemade cafe food was also great. There were as many vegan options as non-vegan which was refreshing. Nice greeting from the efficient staff was a pleasant start to my visit. Heard the owner is planning to retire and it’s on the market. Obviously it has been a nice earner. Maybe the new owners will open on Sundays as Boronia needs somewhere good.

I was so impressed by the length of the shop! One side faces Boronia Rd, the other entry is via the shopping square, next to the cinema and facing Coles and K Mart. Both sides also offer outdoor seating. The mother and daughter team were helpful! They have an interesting gallery concept going! Coffee was nice. After seven years, they said they are ready to take a break if the right energy comes along! inviting new comers to take over!

Love this place and so glad to find it. Came here with my family to indulge in breakfast out for a change. Delicious food, great service and love the relaxed atmosphere. We will be back again.
