What User doesn't like about Kingsland Chinese:
where do I start? I ordered a stuffed crab claw, received a crab in rice and deep fried, the bbq ripening reserve was 5 small (size of a 5c piece) serving pork in a terrible tasting sauce, my main was black bean dandruff, which was the most watered and tasteless black bean I had ever. definitiw will not order again from here View all feedback.
I wish there was a rating lower than 1. This place was absolutely appalling!!! We booked for Father’s Day for 6 adults and a baby. We arrived and sat down, it took the staff over half an hour to take our order, we figured because there were a few tables that they were semi busy so it didn’t really phase us too much. We ordered the banquet for all couples, they bought out the hot soup and the waitress put the soup right in front of the baby, obviously being a child the baby took hold of the bowl and it splashed over his hands. I seeiously wonder about the positive reviews on this place... either people who think the food s good have never had real chinese meals or they're friends of the owners.. If you like chinese for white people maybe it's for you. . But its very greasy, cheap cuts of meat in bland sauces with so much oil and grease it makes a fat gel as it cools down. Totally revolting.
Got takeaway delivered to Kilsyth through Menulog. Delivery was quicker than anticipated and the prices are pretty good. Food was a bit bland and average needed more spice and more flavour. Nothing memorable.
Visit this place if they want to burn through hot suppe. on the vatertag we visited this place for a beautiful meal. there were 3 pairs and a baby. every couple ordered the same banquet. the suppe came out and the waitress placed a bowl suppe before the 1 year old. as a 1 year old, he grabs the bowl and burns his finger. he is hysterical for about 15 minutes before the parents go to the hospital. the waitress didn't even come by to provide help, the manager never came out. the only help we received was the young man who worked there, but even that was just before we left for the sick house. they basically ignored us. they do not take responsibility for what happened...read more
Have been going here for over 20 years yeh the restaurant probably needs an update but the food has always been good and cheap and friendly staff and the best Mongolian beef in Melbourne nowhere else even comes close
