Description

Agora in Orange offers a beautiful set menu for Sunday breakfast, featuring dishes such as poached pears with muesli and smoked trout with potato pancakes. The Old Convent, located just outside of Orange, is also highly recommended for its fixed menu breakfast and lunch options with a French twist. The restaurant provides delicious meals with a picturesque view of green pastures and mountains in the distance. Visitors can expect friendly service and tasty dishes made with local ingredients. Although tea drinkers may be disappointed at the limited beverage options, overall, the dining experience at these establishments is well worth the visit and highly recommended by satisfied customers.

We visited with a large group for lunch and had one of the best meals I have eaten for a long time. The food was interesting, beautifully prepared and show-cased local ingredients. Service was friendly and helpful. My only criticism is that only coffee was...available after the meal meaning that tea drinkers missed out.

There is a place a little outside of Orange but well worth the visit. Just imagine having breakfast looking out over green pastures and the mountains in the distance. The Old Convent serves a fixed menu for breakfast and a fixed menu for lunch, opened...only on a Sunday. It is truly a little gem and friends who come to visit make a special point of doing 'Brunch ' at the Convent when they come. The food is delicious with Josie 's own twist after many visits to France. Well worth the drive out of town, and don 't forget to book.

It is a year ago, since we visited, but only check the orange restaurant scene and disappointed that more people did not check what is a wonderful restaurant. our brunch set is perfect and the personal friendly and helpful. that was great. a group of 14 were all very satisfied. might not want to leave the cat out of the bag in knowing, but we would certainly not hesitate to return or recommend this jewel.
