What Frédérique Hamon doesn't like about La Capitainerie:
My wife (we are not married but have been together a whole life) does not eat fish. She doesn't like it, and "wouldn't like it," even if she didn't try it. I love seafood. As I am sitting having finished my mealAll I can say is that this place is amazingTapas size seafoodNothing disappointed.
This place is great !! It's tapas style so not huge portions however the price is only 8-10 euros per dish including tax and everything was delicious.
This charming restaurant was recommended by a local guy I ran into earlier in the day I decided to give it a try.
My wife (we are not married but have been together a whole life) does not eat fish. She doesn't like it, and "wouldn't like it," even if she didn't try it. I love seafood. That's what I'm fighting for. My advice is not to go if someone in the company doesn't like seafood. There is no viable alternative. I had oysters, crab and shrimp. Everything was good. the wine recommended by the staff was however dark. heavily wooded and not at all suitable for food. It was too expensive. The salad had clearly not been washed and was granular. I enjoyed my meal but a lot of room for improvement.
This place is really good. food is just excellent and service too. It doesn't look very serious, but you won't regret it!
