View all feedback.
What Muhammad Schuster doesn't like about Chez Paulette:

We were on our way to dinner, and the restaurant we chose, was closed for no apparent reason. That is when we have luckily stumbled upon Chez Paulette. What a great place to eat!Do keep in mind that their restaurant is NOT air conditioned. It was very hot outside and they had several fans running, but if you are seated in the back, which is where we were, there is barely any air circulating, and it very, very hot. The place was very busy, and that was the only available table at the time we came in. Once there were free tables, there was no problem for us to move towards the entrance, and sit by the open doors, that was much nicer. The food was very delicious and beautifully presented. We ordered two 21.20 euro menus and one 25.50 euro menu, as we wanted to taste as many dishes as possible. Duck liver pate was fantastic, very smooth and tasty with fresh berries. Fried Duck liver was AMAZING! Even our teenager, who is somewhat a picky eater, but one who is ready to explore new tastes, loved it. In fact, we were practically fighting over it! If we did not have so much food, we would have ordered another one. Duck Confit was also great, tender and flavorful. Duck in Cherry Sauce, was similarly tasty, sauce with sweetness and tartness overlaid, very good. Finally, Beef skewer with Gorgonzola sauce, which was very mild and didn’t take away from the meat itself, a perfect balance. In the end we had three different deserts. Rum Baba, not too much drenched in the sauce, nicely soaked, Strawberries in Wine sauce, interesting and tasty and Cannele Profiterol, which is a region specialty, a small chocolate like cake with ice cream, also very good.Overall, a fantastic meal. Would love to come back for more!
