Was Adrian B at Bistro Reno a mag?
Over five nights spent between Paris and Bordeaux this was our highlight. Traditional, but excellent, food, a pleasant environment, good drink and all at a very fair price. View all feedback.
What Pierre Schneider dislikes about Bistro Reno:
Lovely simple French food, well prepared but personally didn't find it anything to write home about. We had the duck, rabit and tuna. Waiters were lovely and spoke some English. View all feedback.

The starters and mains were delicious, and the waiters provided excellent advice on wines to accompany the food. The portions were a little small (although packed full of flavour!) but the restaurant provides plenty of complimentary fresh bread to fill up. The atmosphere was nice, as we sat outside overlooking the gorgeous street. One issue, however, was that we were sat next to the menu board on the wall so I had to keep moving to allow others in the street to see the menu! Overall, I would definitely recommend for a relaxing and yummy evening.
Wow !! The best version of French cuisine in the heart of the old town of Bordeaux. Esquisite dishes, perfect atmosphere, music, you can even leave your sign on the toilet's walls! Be creative! Top wine list! You can't be wrong here. Martyna & Vitold
A lovely meal, the langoustine ravioli in creamy seafood sauce was particularly good. We drank wines by the glass, not too expensive, the service was excellent, although the restaurant was busy, we were allowed to eat at a keisurely pace
We were lucky to get the last available table and sat outside in the lovely street ambience. I had the rabbit and my wife, the duck. The rabbit was good but the duck was to die for. Superb. The mi cuit chocolate pudding was excellent. Friendly helpful service. A very enjoyable night. Thoroughly recommended
A small restaurant in the old city. The high scores are completely justified. The food was delicious, including the fish tartare and lobster ravioli appetizers, and the oxtail pie and duck entrees. The two waiters were extremely busy, but the service was friendly and each dish was served within seconds of the time it was ready.

My friends and I enjoyed a fabulous meal here on our first night and agreed it was the best from our 4 night trip. The selections available on all courses were plentiful and the flavours were delicious as you would expect from French cuisine. The staff were attentive helping us with the more complicated ingredients on the menu and at no point did we feel rushed which was great considering people came and went in the time we were in there. I definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate going again if ever in Bordeaux. In fact we recommended it to people we met whilst there who immediately booked, it was that good am experience.
Very good experience. Friendly staff, nice settings. Right on a busy pedestrian street full of restos and wine bars. Good choice of entrees and plats. For me both entree (mackerel with beets) and main (beef with potatoes) were good but lacked that extra flavor or texture that would have put it over the edge to excellent.

The best restaurant I visited in Boudreaux. Wonderful selection of food. Not all were fantastic but the dishes looked unforgettable. Wine suggested by the staff was incredible.
Fantastic bistro style French food. Great ambiance on lively pedestrian street. Great for groups. Service excellent

Nice, high end bistro. Great food and ambiance, fantastic service! Wine list could be improved but they allow to bring your own for a small fee so not a problem at all!
AMAZING!! Simply gorgeous food, super friendly helpful staff a great price!! For our 1st time in France not fluent in French either, the staff couldn't have been more helpful!! We would DEFINITELY recommend it was brilliant thank you!
Great food and friendly service. Waiters are nice to help translate menu board to English. Great help to select a good bottle of red matching our food and the champagne by the glass was also a good experience.
I had a wonderful experience at Bistro Réno. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The food was delicious and well-presented. We enjoyed the parmentier, the duck and the escargot ravioli, all of which were cooked to perfection. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I have no complaints and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal in Bordeaux.
Very good restaurant, staff very helpful and speak English. The food is lovely, French cuisine with a modern twist. Atmosphere is cozy, loved it
