Tap'd - Booval
Tap'd
Description
With roughly 70–72 rotating craft beers on tap and budget-friendly paddles, this Ipswich spot is a beer lover’s dream. Stylish yet cosy decor, friendly knowledgeable staff, prompt service and varied seating make it great for groups, events or family visits. Pub-style food is solid and kids can be served via the co-located kitchen, while TVs keep things lively. Note: navigation between nearby restaurants can be confusing and plant-based menu options are limited.

The beers on tap here are off the chain. So many different varieties to cater to anyone who likes a nice cold beverage! We’ve eaten here a couple of times and the food has always been good but it’s just your regular pub grub.
We have visited Tap'd twice now and have had a great experience both times. The service is excellent and the food is fresh and delicious! We've tried the ribs, pulled beef burger, cauliflower dumplings, and Szechuan calamari. We will definitely be returning!
The food was good, but the really fun part was the WIDE selection 70+ beers) on tap. Some diverse darks and fruity/sours plus a range of more classic Aussie lagers and pale ales. $10 for 3 beers in a paddle and a classy interior with a wide variety of seating. Food came out quickly and the daily special seemed good value. You can also order from the Char'd restaurant menu co-located in the same building), which we did for our kids. Lots of TVs playing a variety of sport and news.
I absolutely love the decor throughout the restaurant and bar area! Even more importantly, their customer service was AMAZING! My sister hosted her 50th birthday party at this venue, and it turned out to be a wonderful night. Everything, from the food to the incredibly friendly bar staff, was fantastic. I'm new to craft beer, and the bartender was very knowledgeable about all the beers on tap.
