Now that Swifts has 'ironed out ' the kitchen problems by changing the kitchen staff, there is a lot less yelling ' and noise. The food (quality has picked up, and there are 'bargains ' to be had (if you are early . The Seafood Basket is 'hearty ' and well priced (if you are a member membership is cheap. We took some overseas visitors there and fed the five of us for less than $40 by buying the meal of the day, and desert. All in all, a nice experience (now if you accept that it is a 'Sports ' club and not a (fancy restaurant.

After years of trying this restaurant, my son's 21st birthday dinner was the final straw. As you can see from the rotten tomatoes on both my husband's and my plate, the steak we ordered well done was raw in parts. We were also embarrassed by the employees for proof of age, even though we had a birth certificate and photos. They made our meal uncomfortable. The dress code and behavior of the other patrons did not make for an enjoyable evening. We will not be returning. The only positive note is the lady who took our orders, she was friendly and hard working. One star for her.

Had my grandaughters 21st in the function room.Very unprofessional would not recommend this place for a function.So many things from beginning went wrong.Too many to mention.Asked that the manager to contact me but this has not happened.

I recently visited Swifts Sports Club with a group of friends. The venue has its strengths and weaknesses. The interior has been nicely renovated, but the exterior areas are showing signs of aging. The staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient in serving us. The prices for beverages were reasonable and as expected. There is potential to make better use of their outdoor space. It is a pleasant setting, especially for lawn bowls enthusiasts. There is a nice outdoor bar that caters to lawn bowlers. It seemed like they were preparing for some food trucks later in the evening, but we couldn't stay to see them. The venue offers gaming machines and sports, although they couldn't accommodate the game I wanted to watch that afternoon. There is definitely room for improvement, but overall, I left the sports club feeling satisfied and well taken care of.
