It’s suitable for larg... read more This is a great café and gift shop located at the Dalegarth Train Station on the La'al Ratty, part of the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway. It’s suitable for larger groups, accommodating them over two days if needed. It’s a nice spot to enjoy an ice cream or a cup of tea or coffee along with a slice of cake, or perhaps something more substantial. The restrooms are conveniently located on the platform level and downstairs near the parking area. The building itself is beautiful and modern! The gift shop offers a variety of interesting items, including train tickets and seating information. The station announcer also manages the shop and did an excellent job with the announcements. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience! We paused here to wait for our train back to Ravenglass.
