Nudelei is a truly tiny Italian gem — the kind of place you might easily overlook if you didn’t know what you were looking for. With only five or six small tables inside and a couple more outside, it offers an intimate, almost home-like atmosphere that immediately sets it apart from bigger, more conventional restaurants. The menu is deliberately short, usually featuring four or five dishes plus a dessert, and if I understand correctly, it changes every week. Most of the dishes revolve around pasta, but what really stands out is the creativity and boldness behind the recipes. One week you might find a comforting classic like Bolognese, and the next you’ll discover lasagna with game meat or delicate pumpkin ravioli. Whatever you choose, the food is consistently exceptional — refined in a distinctly Italian way and absolutely delicious. If there is one downside, it would be the very limited opening hours. However, as far as I know, the owner runs the restaurant in his free time, so this is more of a charming quirk than a real flaw. All in all, Nudelei is a wonderfully local spot with its own character, atmosphere, and vibe — and with a kitchen that never disappoints. A place well worth seeking out.
We visited the Pastalei for the first time today. The food and service were excellent. There's always a weekly menu with about six different dishes, so I'd say there's always something for everyone. Vegetarian, with meat, or with fish. We also bought some fresh pasta and pesto to take home. Thank you, we'll be back
