It's disappointing that they are no longer open! They had the best menudo in San Diego.

The fajitas and salsa were excellent! The mango Margarita was delicious! My friends introduced me to this place, it's similar to Karina's but has its own unique atmosphere. Overall, not bad at all!

Taco Tuesday had a taco set up out back. Cool space, but tacos were just same as many places. Also had shrimp ceviche tostada, a bit bland for me. My companion had one as well and she liked it because it wasn't so salty. Took awhile to get our food because only one cook in the kitchen but I only saw one other table actually ordering food... waitress didn't come back to check on us or refill our cups. We sat in the bar area, very loud, so stay inside if you want conversation or in the bar area for music and loud conversations.

I came here after work to enjoy a margarita and some chips. I sat down in the bar and waited for someone to bring me a menu and take my drink order. It was, in their defense, busy, not still had several empty tables and most of the bar patrons were sitting at the bar with the bartender serving them. After a 20 minute wait, I flagged down a passing waitress. She became indignant and told me rudely that she had a big table just sit down and they were her priority. I asked her if she could let the appropriate waitress know that I 'd been sitting there for 20 minutes without even a menu. I saw her mumble something to another waitress who looked over her shoulder at me. That waitress continued on and never bothered to even acknowledge me. After another five minutes, I left in disgust. I have tried to support the small restaurants during the pandemic and I 'm an easy to please customer, but this was beyond belief. Not so much as a I 'm really busy but will be with you when I can. All I got was an attitude as if the waitress was put out I flagged her down. I really want to like this place but truly horrible (non existent) service and historically mediocre food is no recipe for success. They 've lost my business for good.

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious.
