My husband and I donned our best holiday attire to enjoy the food and wine at this trendy establishment. The menu was carefully explained and the service on the whole was very good. We ordered 6 dishes to share and were adequately full after. The Bellini cocktails are very good, so is the spirit and wine selection. Our favourite was the bouillabaisse milkshake. Highly recommend if you're feeling like splashing the cash. With a glass of wine it came to around €60 per head.
In the middle of all the terraces lined up in the port, that of da passano notices... elegant, beautiful dishes etc. we are now in charge and the system of shared dishes is explained to us. the dishes are original and very well made! there is a sea anemone (a first for us) a veal tartare to my reduction of oyster and delicious citrus fruit. all our dishes were original and delicious, continue! Only small flat, a staff sometimes a little familiar but at lunchtime, it goes!
An original cuisine, of spoiled quality bread service and a deplorable welcome! we reserve for 6 on the terrace and when we arrived the table was occupied. we announce a quarter of an hour waiting, we take the time to make the tour of the port and after half an hour always nothing .... it will be necessary to insist on a hostess of overwhelmed reception and in the end to install us even without reception or apology service did not help you: little listening and especially the wish to make the addition of wines out of price for their quality the kitchen: it tries to make up for the taste
The concept of Corsican food as tapas is interesting but the execution misses. Tuna on saffron arancini the rice was old, cold, and mushy. It would be good on a crispy block of rice. The lamb wraps had a bad taste. The crème brûlée was awful ruined; not smooth and they heated the crème so in some areas it was cold.while in others it was very warm. On the positive side, the artichoke crème was delicious as was the fish skewers on naan.
Tapas selection refreshingly different, we really enjoyed the eggplant dish in particular. Service was very quick and the waiter friendly and helpful, he’s a credit to the restaurant. Fitted us in without a reservation and I’d recommend if you want to do something a little bit different with share plates etc.
