Walked up to the jetty and decided to go here with my friend. We were the only people in the restaurant. 2 other people did end up coming later.I don't know why but the waitress couldn't do cocktails "because the manager wasn't on" I guess she doesn't know how, maybe. From what I could tell overall she was lacking in training for this type of restaurant. She didn't do anything that I would consider bad, just appeared... View all feedback.
What Coralie Crist doesn't like about Blue Anchorage:
We eat out most Sunday mornings, I would say the location is awesome, the food was ok nothing spectacular, the service needs to be worked on one thing I hate is being seated at a table then having to go up to the counter to ask if I can place my order , then the waitress standing just looking into space , we were not offered cold water when seated even the table next to us had to get up and ask for water ! Had the most amazing shared seafood for 4 adults today, fantastic location. However the service was terrible, waited over an hour for our food, had to ask for cutlery, went and got a bottle of water from counter after waiting for 20mins. Staff very pleasant but need to be trained in good customer service.
On Friday 4 August 2017 three of us went to this restaurant, recently has changed hands and been spruced up. The menu was simple, good range started with garlic bread - if nothing else this is the best garlic bread tasted for years and better than I do at home! I had the Seafood Chowder, a plate full of greatness - mussels, prawns, fish, scallops, potato bits and the richest creamy sauce. My companions had the fish of the day which was sweet lip done in a light batter, almost to being tempura, but crispy and thicker, just right. Desert was tiramisu and another was ice cream with a shot of baileys and a shot of coffee. Both delightful to taste and a treat to the eye. All this served with delightful bottle of sav/blanc at reasonable price. Staff were great, knowledgeable and skilled. Price was reasonable - will be back - often. Oh by the way the ambience was terrific - both outdoor and indoor dining.
We love this atmosphere, so relax and beautiful water view. And we saw the dolphins swimming and jumping front of us!.Beautiful Saturday, almost full at lunch time. So popular. We had Seafood plate which includes Seafood chowder, 4Oyster natural, 2Oyster Kilpatrick, 2Oyster with fish roe, 4Mussels, 4Tiger prawns, 4Beer battered calamari, Moreton Bay bugs, Chips, Fruits and Salad. The taste was average but it looks so gorgeous!Fun to try many different seafood.Sitting outside, having some drinks, we had a good time.

There are so many places doing Sunday breaky that as a business owner you need to be on your game to keep regular customers
We ordered two lattes and we received very foamy cappuccino's without the chocolate on top. We asked for them to be reheated, but they came back only slightly more warm. Is there no thermometer?
