Enclade's A Taste Of New Orleans

Surprisingly good Cajun food for Pueblo, and that's coming from a guy who is native to New Orleans.

So, we were driving around and noticed this place. We decided to come back and try it, and I'm so very glad we did. Don't be fooled by the unassuming storefront. This place has awesome, authentic food. I grew up in the South, and have eaten in LA, and in New Orleans many times. The fried okra was battered and seasoned perfectly. The fried oysters po-boy was perfect. Light and crispy, and a huge portion. The crawfish etouffee was spicy, savory and full of meat, with a nice amount of rice. The staff were friendly and attentive, even coming by after the meal to chat and help box up the leftovers. We enjoyed our experience, and will be back again.

I usally don't post a review after one experience but the chicken sausage gumbo was very disappointing. A bowl was finished in 10 spoonfuls. At 10 bucks thats dollar a spoonful of below average gumbo. It had 2 small pieces of sausage and the rice was dried up and hard I won't be back to try anything else so I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 that the gumbo deserved.

The service here is amazing. I love Lisa the owner, she always makes customers feel welcome, and the waitress (Chloe) is always on top of it. Knows so much about the food and explained the menu when i went in with my family knowing nothing about this style of food! All of the staff here are so nice and the food is incredible, even the staff who work in the back are always so polite. Love it!!!

I am very impressed with the quality of the food, I haven't had Catfish that good since I lived in the south, their Gumbo, Lobster Bisque and boudin were out of this world, I would highly recommend this place to EVERYONE!!! The owner and the wait staff are some of the friendliest people I have ever met and make you feel right at home!!!!
