I’m actually very thankful for this store, everything about it is authentically Mexican. The products, the produce, the meat, and the people. This store gave me the feeling of community I needed to feel. If you want to treat your friends and family to authentic Mexican meat- this is where you need to go. My family is from Chihuahua Mexico and we would drive to Colorado Springs before this for our specific needs. View all feedback.

I will first state, this market seems like a well run family market. I hate to make comments negative about a local business. However, I must give the public a WARNING. My first trip to this market; I purchased several, what appeared to be, beautiful ribeye steaks. I also purchased several other various cuts of beef. All looked wonderful. Understand, I am NOT a novice when it comes to cooking meats in a variety of ways. However, these steaks were the toughest steaks I’ve ever had in my 60 years of cooking, grilling or smoking meats. Literally, my wife and I could not chew the meat at all…impossible! Could hardly even cut it with a serrated steak knife. Thought maybe something went wrong. Cooked up two more ribeyes to make sure. Same result! This was then 4 out of the 10 ribeyes we bought. Then we cooked up two beautiful looking “chamarro” shank steaks. Same thing! Awful! Called and discussed this with the market. All I got was “we ate the same thing” that same day and it was fine. So, we spent $200 for meat that is only fit to pressure cook and serve to our dogs. This was our first and last meat purchase from this market! Just be warned. BTW, the chicken skins we purchased did fry up very well in our air fryer. So credit is due there.
Staff always helpful and friendly produce is always fresh
