Contribute FeedbackGreggs has established itself as a go-to destination for quick, affordable snacks and meals, often receiving praise for its delicious pasties and friendly service. Many customers appreciate the restaurant's consistent quality and value for money, especially compared to competitors. However, cleanliness and staff efficiency remain points of contention. While some branches maintain spotless environments and prompt service, others struggle with cleanliness and staffing during busy periods, leading to frustrating experiences. Despite the discrepancies, Greggs continues to draw loyal patrons, drawn by its comforting menu and reasonable prices, solidifying its place in the UK's fast-food landscape.
This is my first time writing a review for this establishment, even though I have visited multiple times before. I have never been disappointed with the food at Greggs; it is consistently delicious and offers great value for money. However, the cleanliness of the floor and tables in the seating area is often unacceptable, with it being in a disgusting state 90% of the time. I understand that there are usually only 2 staff members behind the counter, and it can get busy, but they should better plan their day or have an additional person on during peak times. Customers should not have to ask the staff to clean up. During this visit, we ordered 2 hot southern fried chicken baguettes and had difficulty finding the chicken inside.
We stopped by this restaurant for a pasty while we were shopping at Middlebrook. It was very busy with a queue, but we were served quickly. We ordered pasties and Belgium Buns, and the service was fast. The staff were okay and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant was clean. It's a good option for a quick snack, although there is an additional charge for eating inside. It was full when we were there.
I can't believe it! There is a Greggs in my hometown and I didn't even realize it. I always look for Greggs when I travel around the UK. The food is good and reasonably priced, perfect for a quick snack. I visit the shopping complex at least every two weeks when I'm home, but I only found out about the Greggs here because of Trip Advisor. I made sure to go today and found it tucked away next to Costa. I had a pasty and sausage roll that were delicious and hot, and the prices were affordable. The seating is limited both inside and outside, likely due to high rent and rates. There was a line out the door because of how popular it is. The staff were friendly and provided great service. Greggs is definitely holding its own against the competition. It's a successful British brand and now that I know it's here, I'll definitely be coming back more often. I especially love their breakfast deals. Well done, Greggs!
Called in with my daughter and her boyfriend on father's day. Place was packed. Joking aside the pasties and sandwiches are fine. Very reasonable.
