Had a private room upstairs, the Library, for an 18th birthday celebration with family and friends. The venue is lovely, everyone's food was good, reasonable portions and tasty. The staff who looked after us were nice too, chatty and pleasant. The bill was little overpriced. Called in after lovely walk at Creswell Cragg. Fabulous on all counts. Ambience, friendly, food quality, service, beer... and dog friendly. Definitely plan to return.

Visited here today, for the first time. Superb. Food is top notch. Service is great. Staff all great. What a well run pub, and great food.

I had the fillet steak and it was the best beef I've ever tasted. The beef wellington was also very good. It looks like it's getting busier, so I recommend booking a table before you go.
