Boundary - Bolsover
Boundary
Description
The Boundary, a Marston's pub, is situated in a lively suburb, offering a combination of dining and accommodation. While its spacious function room and family-friendly atmosphere cater well to locals and visitors alike, the dining experience has elicited mixed reviews. Diners reported decent meals; however, inconsistencies in food quality and portion sizes were noted. Some experienced delays and reheated dishes, particularly on busy days. On a positive note, the staff have been described as friendly and accommodating. While the pub shows potential, it appears to struggle with maintaining consistent culinary standards, leaving guests with varying impressions.

Feedback
The Boundary is located in the heart of a suburban neighborhood and seems to cater to both locals looking for a pub experience and diners. We have dined at this restaurant twice and on our second visit, we experienced a 40-minute wait for our meal.
We received excellent service tonight for drinks from Nat and Callum. They worked together as a team to serve the customers, and Nat kindly helped me carry the drinks back to my table. Thank you for the great service.
Two steaks were ordered. My partner's were nearly raw and lukewarm. Mine was so fatty, I couldn't even cut it with a steak knife. I ordered an aged beef ribeye and had to send it back because it was cloudy and the taste was off. It was especially disappointing because this is my go-to pub and all I wanted was a nice, relaxing meal. Instead, I spent more time complaining than actually eating. This is not what I consider a pleasant night out.
Used to go here regularly but its gone downhill lately. We've had a few bad experiences recently of either getting orders wrong or not serving food...
