I ordered the baked chicken, which was tender and flavorful, along with dark meat boiled cabbage and sweet potatoes. The chicken was delicious, the cabbage was cooked to perfection, and the sweet potatoes had a nice level of sweetness. The cornbread that came with the meal was a bit bland, though. The restaurant was impressively clean for that time of night. I will definitely return!

The catfish was fried to perfection—light and full of flavor. The fried chicken was expertly seasoned and absolutely finger-licking good! I had never tried fried pork chops before, but now I'm definitely a fan! The oxtail and rice lived up to all my expectations; it was simply decadent… yum! The greens were fantastic, and the creamed spinach was just right. The spaghetti was good, and while the mac and cheese was decent, I've had better. The corn muffins were tasty as well. Overall, I have no complaints. If you're in the mood for soul food, definitely give this place a shot—you won't regret it!

Let me tell you, the catfish was piping hot, beautifully golden fried, and seasoned to perfection. Each bite was absolutely delightful, reminding me of the best home-cooked meals. The cabbage and candied yams were equally delicious and complemented the catfish beautifully. This place is truly a gem with a wide variety of options on the menu. They even have a special of the day, which is a nice touch. And let’s not forget the desserts! They offer banana pudding, lemon cake, and peach cobbler. Though I didn’t get to try them myself, my friend did and absolutely loved them. I can’t wait to return—probably very soon! This was my first visit to this new location, and it definitely won’t be my last.
