What Haskell Buckridge likes about Saint Lawrence Gridiron:

The food alone is reason enough to go to SLG, but the service atmosphere are always top notch, and make it feel like a special occasion. The food at the last visit was delicious as always, and presented in a timely manner, allowing us to enjoy our time visiting and yet not feeling rushed at all. The seating was spaced nicely, allow... We sat at the bar and tried to get served. Finally left after about 10 minutes. Just an odd overall experience of being ignored. Disappointed as we were looking forward to some seafood View all feedback.

read moreSaltwater Grill is a restaurant with a lot of room for improvement. From a smoky ambiance to cheap-looking tables and chairs, the restaurant's decor leaves much to be desired. Issues with cleanliness, such as dirty floors and restroom problems, were noted. While the food was decent, it didn't meet expectations for some diners, with complaints about dry ribs, tough greens, and a lackluster winter salad. Menu discrepancies with OpenTable and higher prices than expected also contributed to a negative experience for some customers. In contrast, Saint Lawrence Gridiron received glowing reviews, with delicious food and top-notch service. Diners praised the flavorful dishes, great beer and wine selections, and friendly staff. St. Lawrence remains a favorite among Boise diners, thanks to its consistently excellent food and outstanding service. Despite a few minor complaints, regulars appreciate the generous portions and friendly staff. Overall, Saltwater Grill may not be worth a return visit, but Saint Lawrence Gridiron continues to impress diners with its exceptional food and service.
