Rigsby's is fast becoming one of my wife's and my favorite places. We're ALWAYS treated well when we come here, and the food is fantastic. I'm a big fan of the Donato's pizza that you can order here it's one of my favorite local pizza joints. My biggest concern is that one day, Rigsby's will become too popular and the standards will start slipping (it happens all the time). I hope that the management successfully hand... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Rigsby's Smoked Burgers, Wings Grill:
We arrived at the restaurant shortly after opening, with only two other tables occupied. Our server, Austin, was very slow and lacked personality. It took us 15 minutes to place our order and over 30 minutes to receive our food. My partner's burger had ketchup and onions, which were not listed on the menu, and he is allergic to onions. The replacement burger came out suspiciously fast, leading us to believe they simp... View all feedback.
The dining experience at Rigsby's at Boiling Springs is highly variable can be great, can be terrible. Staff vary from highly attentive to totally disinterested. The answer to the server's How do you want your burger cooked question may be closely followed or may be taken as a suggestion to be ignored. Fries may be a horrid limp soggy mess or a crispy delight. Fries and onion rings may be served stone cold or wonderfully hot. When I walk in the door, I have no idea if I'm going to have a meal that makes me say Hey that's good or a meal that leaves me muttering I won't be back as I head out the door. After my last meal with cold fries, skimpy toppings on my hamburger, and no refill on my drink, I think I'm going to stop walking in the door.
So disappointing. We love Rigsby's....well the Rigsbys downtown. The quality of the one is Boiling Springs is subpar at best. Pathetic to be honest. We didn't even finish our food, asked to speak with a manager and was told there wasn't one there. Needless to say we will never be back. Below shows the pathetic excuse for a $14 burger. Smaller than the bun, barely any pimento cheese, and 2 small pieces of bacon. If you want Rigsbys then go downtown, they actually have standards.
Our server Brittany was 10 out of 10, she was absolutely fantastic.Burger patties were cooked perfectly, we ordered them medium and they came out medium. The lettuce on the burger was covered in rot spots, which was disgusting. With the chances of food born illness from lettuce/romaine it probably shouldn't have been served.I ordered the fries extra crispy, and twice I got hot soggy fries. I do wish they could have gotten that right. I paid full price for a meal but only ate the beef patty with cheese on it.They have the potential to get better, and I certainly hope they improve.
Met with an old friend here and we both ordered the Chicken Philly and it was delicious. We started with an appetizer, the Thunder Shrimp which was also delicious. We ordered all items as they come so this review is based on the authentic menu items. We both had 3 beers and 3 shots. Our bill was around 120.00. So, in conclusion it is a nice place off Hwy 9 and the service was excellent.
I just ordered a family drawn pork meal, the cole Slav and a choice of the side, my choice was makkaroni and cheese. the makkaroni looked at home as if it had been heated several times, it was not creamy or cheesy only dry nudel and broken oily cheese. the claw was warm and soggy, not fresh, it was not pleasant. at $42.50 they would expect their sides to be fresh. that is the second time that I have been disappointed here and quite frankly the service. I am more than willing to pay for good food, but that has missed the brand....how
