My group loved this restaurant! There were a variety of options for meat lovers — but there were great options for my vegan family as well! Excellent restaurant! View all feedback.
What Liis Kull doesn't like about El Arabe:
We went as a group and all ordered the schwarma. They have several varieties. If you go as a group and ask for separate checks, make sure they get it right immediately. It became a major production to change it after the fact. Okay place. View all feedback.
I wanted to try the place for the libanese food. Even though the food was ok I think the ambiance of the place is the appeal. Drinks were great on the terrace, service was diligent but I was not really impressed with the dishes. The interior design of this restaurant seems high end however the falafel I order was ok but too dry. I would return just for drinks only. If you like fine dining you're better off at Harry Sason and grab a drink on this one before ;)
Excellent eating, friendly staff and clean facilities. eating is original libanesen and the portions are very good. we tried various appetizers (fattah, vine leaves and kabbah) and we had grilled main dishes - all delicious!
Dinner solo. when I walk around the G-zone, I land in this cozy terrace and nice eating eating eating is good and tasty, had lamb and red wine good worth
Remarkable Lebanese eating in a beautiful opposite of bogota. the hummus, often disappointing, was spectacular here. the scary, the service spot on. the menu offers all traditional Lebanese dishes, but they know clearly what they do here.
I recently got an apartment in the general area of this restaurant and have been exploring the food options which overall seem to be great. El Arabe is no exception, although my experience has been limited I plan to go back and try a...great deal more of what is on the menu. I ordered the babaganoush something that I love and have ordered in restaurants all over the world (and at which my great aunt used to excel It was possibly the best I have ever had sorry Aunt Fan. It was smoky and very garlicky with a perfect balance of lemon and a superb olive oil. It was served with pita fresh out of the oven. Before it came to the table, I was brought out a seasoned lavash that was also fresh out of the oven and delicious, along with a small dish of lebneh with olive oil and what I think was a sort of basil cream that was fantastic. I was by myself for lunch and the babaganoush and the lavash would have been sufficient, but I wanted to try more so I had a mixed (beef and chicken) schwarma sandwich wrap that was perfect with fresh crisp vegetables, a light yogurt tahini sauce and the meat very nicely seasoned. I asked for chili sauce and got a very good and very spicy one that is made in-house. The service was very friendly and efficient, the place is comfortable and seems like it would be good for both informal and nicer occasions and the menu is extensive and seems to also offer a lot for my vegetarian friends. I will definitely be back with more company.
