What User doesn't like about Valeria:
I couldn't answer my review. we ordered the meatball and bread cup. the meatballs had a pampered taste and the bread was roasted to a point where they were very difficult to eat. we also split the carbonara spaghetti. the eggs were scattered and the fat or oil in the dish had a very burnt taste. unnecessary to say we could not eat the main course. we were offered a free dessert, but that was it. no compensation on th... The food is really good. Everything is made in house including the tartar sauce--the best I've ever had! Their bread is also exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant. I'm saddened they are no longer open for lunch....
Great Italian food, wine and Music (on weekends). This place is Not like a Garlic Den!
The carbonara was an absolute tragedy. Words alone cannot explain how tasteless it was, not to mention it came with a practically non existent portion of guanciale. My wife's seafood shrimp pasta was comparable, very little flavor. Neither of us finished our meals. Our server Valerie was great and provided us with great service, but the food alone warrants a one star review. For a $122 bill, we were severely disappointed. I really hope Chef Keith was out sick and this was an isolated incident.
Our entire experience was wonderful! Moses, our server, welcomed us and well described our decisions. The wine and beer list is amazing. The food was great too. I had the calf and Bob had a real Italian pizza. Yum. Back to us
My wife had heard rumors of the new restaurant. Typically, when we want fine dining in Boerne, we go to The Creek. Since that place is closed on Mondays, we tried this one. We were not at all disappointed! Their locally sourced food is of both outstanding quality and outstanding preparation. The tiramisu is the best I have ever had, and I'm a 25-year military veteran who has traveled the world. The service by Jacob and Eileen was superb. I can wholeheartedly endorse this fine establishment.
