This place is on point. Prices are great and food has been always fresh when we have gone. Portions are great too more then filling. I think we have had almost everything on the menu and nothing has been bad even when their busy service was good and food came out warm and in a timely manner. Complementary chips and salsa aren't bad either. View all feedback.
What Rick G doesn't like about Boerne Taco House:
We were going to go to Cibolo Brewery ; however, parking and the place was not good for handicapped. So we ended up here which is next door to CB. The ordering was fine but the taco ground beef was very greasy and just drained onto the plate. I will say wife's tostadas were nicely presented but , here again, the ground beef was also greasy. I do like the free tostadas , after we had to ask for them, and the different... View all feedback.
Tostadas and tacos were fantastic. Service was also quick. Super easy and casual meal with a nice vibe.
I have no criticism of this restaurant but it but doesn't deserve a 4.5 rating. It's hard for me to give that rating for tacos.
I came back to Boerne Taco House, eager to give them a second chance! I heard multiple great reviews at work, all of which said the enchiladas are the thing to get. Unfortunately, I do not agree. I was very excited to try these red enchiladas, especially when I saw the red sauce described as a mole sauce. I am not the best judge of quality Mexican food, but this was no mole sauce. It did not have any spice to it, no hint of cinnamon or chocolate, and clearly lacks the color. As for the rest of the enchilada, it was filled with queso fresca. The inside was straight cheese. It was not melted, toasted or warm. It was apparent that they had simply rolled up shredded cheese in a tortilla and then topped it with sauce. I can confidently say, that I will not be coming back at this point. I will give them more credit for their rice this time. It, too, was lacking the traditional flavor of a Mexican rice, but it did not taste like it had sat in a plastic container for a few too many days this time. I also saw a huge improvement in the chips as they were nice and crisp this time. Overall, the service was slow. There was one group ahead of me without food and it took a little over 20 minutes for my enchiladas. This place has a lot of potential and I've heard lots of great things about it, but it is not the restaurant to go to if you are looking for authentic Mexican or tex-mex cuisine.

Amazing street tacos here! They do rival the food truck tacos! The portions and toppings are very generous. Food trucks are hard to find around here. The dining area is very open with tables and chairs. The service was really good. Parking is around back with an entrance access to the building through the dining patio.
