We arrived a little earlier than our booked time, but we’re the only customers. We were seated, and served promptly. Because we were having lunch with friends we weren’t in a particular rush so we didn’t mind, but our food did take over an hour to come, other guests seemed to have ordered after us and left before we got our food. What MarkH doesn't like about Bodmin Jail:
A disappointing first visit to the jail meaning that we won’t be returning any time soon. Service was extremely slow, and when food arrived the ordered medium rare steak was well done. Vegetables on another meal were raw meaning they were inedible. The stark meal was swapped but the new meal arrived after the rest of the table had finished. Very disappointing. View all feedback.

There could be better atmosphere in the situation, but we were the only diners at the time of our meal.
Lovely restaurant, what we ordered was very good but had no specials and Signature dish was not available.
