This restaurant is situated in the Westbury Hotel and offers a fantastic selection of meals. They even have a complete vegan menu. I began with the vegan crackers and then enjoyed the faux chicken with cashew nuts served with jasmine rice. It was a lovely meal, but quite pricey! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hoi-an:
I enjoyed my meal here, there was nothing wrong with it, it was all well executed and avoided the typical pitfalls of a Chinese in the UK (greeseyness goopyness), but there wasn't anything that exciting about it either, which I was really hoping for. That said the seitan was home made and the popcorn tofu was great. The black bean had actual black beans in which is always a bonus. Maybe a 3.5/5 stars. View all feedback.
I enjoyed my meal here, there was nothing wrong with it, it was all well executed and avoids the typical fall knitting of a Chinese in Great Britain (Greek-Goopyness), but there was nothing that was exciting about what I really hoped. that said that since then was made to house and the popcorn tofu was great. the black bean had real black beans in which always a bonus is. Offered a vegan version of every single item on the menu! I had the starter platter and special fried rice, they were pricey but well worth it!
On holiday in Cornwall and found this restaurant on Happycow. First Chinese takeaway for nearly 4 years since I've been vegan. Highly recommend
