What Vito Gallo doesn't like about V S Italian Deli:
Wow someone needs to take a trip to Chicago and learn how to make an Italian beef sub, red sauce what? Forgot the basil in our mozzarella sub. Also forgot the salami in another sub and five subs and three sides for $85. The bread was probably the worst bread for a sub I’ve ever had. All the hype but a real disappointment. View all feedback. What can I tell you. It starts with the staff: the smiles, the accents, the confident way they move around and take your order. Then it's the space: tight, busy, nothing frilly, nothing wasted, NY energy. Lastly, the food: tbh, I haven't unwrapped the sub from its white waxy paper casing yet but I saw the meats being sliced and how all the ingredients were carefully put together, and I can feel its impressive weight...
