I tried many of their competitors and I can say that this is the best food delivery ever! Excellent food, great quality, good portions, awesome taste, unmatched client service. I wish they had one in the state I'm moving to because I'll be subscribing the minute I get there. Thank you for these 3 years of service! View all feedback.
What Katie Cannon doesn't like about Fit Food Fresh:
The food here is generally good for prepared meals, though I do wish there were more vegetable options. However, my experience with the service has been quite disappointing. My friend bought me a gift card when I had my first child, and it took over two months and numerous phone calls from her just to get it sent to me via email. When I finally tried to redeem it, it didn't work, and I had to call them again, as they... View all feedback.
The food is delicious, healthy, and fresh. It's a fantastic option to have at home when you're leading a busy life. As a busy mom, I can say my kids absolutely love it!
First and foremost, the food. Fit Food Fresh delivers meals that are well-packaged and come in generous portions. I’ve never been left feeling hungry, and sometimes I find I have more food than I actually need. Both the recommended service and Fit Food Fresh provide similar portion sizes in that regard. Additionally, the meals are tasty and well-prepared, earning an overall grade of A from me. In comparison, I would rate the other service at a B+. Honestly, I find the taste of Fit Food Fresh meals to be noticeably better, even though the other option is also quite good. Almost every meal from Fit Food Fresh has been delicious and leaves me feeling satisfied; however, while the other service has some tasty meals, they rarely leave me thinking, “Wow, that was fantastic.” A highlight of Fit Food Fresh is that their seafood is wild-caught. Moreover, the quality of chicken used in their stuffed dishes (like lasagna and burritos) appears to be superior—Fit Food Fresh seems to favor chicken breast, while the other service occasionally uses lower-quality dark meat. I’ve been unable to determine whether the other service uses wild-caught or farm-raised seafood, but I believe their standalone chicken is decent, although I suspect they sometimes use lower-quality meat for stuffed items. Fit Food Fresh clearly excels in this aspect. When it comes to breakfast options, Fit Food Fresh offers fewer choices than the other service, which does have a broader breakfast menu. However, I have found the breakfast items I ordered from Fit Food Fresh to be quite tasty. The main deciding factor for me each week is the menu and which dishes appeal to me. Ideally, I would stick with Fit Food Fresh due to my preference for their food, but occasionally, the other service has a more enticing menu, and I might order from both. Recently, I have been leaning towards exclusively ordering from Fit Food Fresh, as their options are often just as appealing, and, as I mentioned, their food tends to taste much better. Delivery is another area where Fit Food Fresh stands out. Their delivery times are much more convenient; for instance, my meals typically arrive on Sundays between noon and 6 pm. This is a significant improvement compared to the other service, which delivers in the middle of the night, between midnight and 6 am. Since I live in a gated community without a guard, I have to keep my phone on to let them in, which can be quite annoying and often wakes me up. With the other service, my food would sometimes sit outside for hours until I woke up. Fit Food Fresh solves this issue with their deliveries occurring at reasonable hours when I can quickly bring the food inside and refrigerate it. In terms of flexibility, Fit Food Fresh surpasses the other service I recommend. With Fit Food Fresh, I can order as few or as many meals as I like; some weeks I order over ten meals, while at other times, I might only need three. On the other hand, the other service has a minimum requirement of ten meals per week, which limits flexibility—there might be weeks when I don’t need that many. Lastly, regarding pricing, it is transparent and easy to compare. I believe the pricing is fair, especially considering the quality, portion sizes, and service provided. Customer service is excellent as well.
The food here is generally good for prepared meals, though I do wish there were more vegetable options. However, my experience with the service has been quite disappointing. My friend bought me a gift card when I had my first child, and it took over two months and numerous phone calls from her just to get it sent to me via email. When I finally tried to redeem it, it didn't work, and I had to call them again, as they have no response to emails. I've placed several orders, and they've only gotten it right once. Most of the time, I either receive incomplete orders or get meals I didn't order and can't eat.
I've tried many meal prep companies, and this one is by far the best! They consistently offer a wide variety of fresh foods, which keeps my meals interesting. I also appreciate that Andrew is always available to answer my questions and provide assistance when needed. I will definitely be recommending this service to my family and friends!
