Along with fifteen of my wife's Italian cousins we enjoyed a feast of more than eleven courses plus coffee. There were 5 antipasti, two pastas, and several other more substantial dishes. The tagliatelle with mushrooms was my favorite along with vitello tonato. I did not care for the fried mushrooms, but with such variety it hardly mattered. I finished with strawberry gelato and the coffee was served with the restaurant's own special Amaro liqueur. The restaurant clearly caters to groups this size and is very efficient even with a large crowd.
We had a 'buffet ' in which we paid 20€ each. There are so many choices for Antipasto and everything was good. There are 2 choices for primo and 2 choices for secondo. We also had a half litre of house wine, and 1 l. of water... at the end we paid only 40€. So great economical price and good food.
Visited this slice of heaven last summer!!! The owners and staff are extremely welcoming. It was like walking into your family's house. The food was delicious and catered well for the 15+ people in our group. Also returned for dinner as it was so lovely, local man played beautiful guitar songs whilst we dined. I would recommended this to anyone and everyone. If you are in the vicinity eat here, if not, make a drive to eat here!!! I will be returning!
We found the restaurant by chance. By the looks it is stuck sometime in the 80s or even 70s. But the food was great. A big variety of antipasti. The Ravioli where excellent as was the main course (wild boar). The service was charming and welcoming.
